2026 Day of Service
The Central Florida Chapter is partnering with Safe House of Seminole County, which has supported survivors of domestic violence since 1995 through counseling, advocacy, and emergency shelter. We will be taking donations of items from their needed wish list.
We will host a donation drop-off at Friendly Confines in Lake Mary on April 25 from 2–5 p.m. WV’s Christy Salters Martin, Boxing Champion and Hall of Famer, and domestic violence survivor, plans to attend. Every donation will receive one entry into a day of giving drawing. Darwing will be take place on the day of drop off at the Safe House. You need not be present to win.
If you are unable to attend, wish list items may be purchased through the Amazon link below and shipped to the Kim and Joe Abel residence. All collected items will be presented to Safe House leadership the week of April 27. A complete list is also provided below.

Children’s List:
- Chips or Cookie Snack packs (for afterschool snacks)
- Cheese and Cracker

Pantry Items:
- Breakfast Bars like: Nutri-grain, Nature Valley or Bel-Vita Bars
- Canned meats (Chicken, Tuna, SPAM) single serve size preferred
- Chef Boyardee – mini ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs and spaghetti O’s are their favorites!
- Pasta – all types (Favorites are Penne, shells, spaghetti, and bow tie)
- Canned Alfredo and Spaghetti Sauces/Marinara Sauce (24oz sizes or smaller)
- Ground Coffee and Creamer
Hygiene List/Drug Store Items:
- Full Size Shampoo and Conditioner (for all ethnic groups)
- Full Size Body Wash
- Full Size Body Lotion
- Children/Youth Size Toothbrushes
- Band-aides multiple sizes
- Face cleaning products for women
- Women’s reading glasses various strengths
Basic Needs:
- Women’s underwear (current sizes in need are (5,6,7 and 8)
- Women’s loungewear or lightweight Pajamas sizes M, L and XL

- Twin Size lightweight blankets and sheet sets
